How Lightman Was Born
It started the way the best stories do: a father, a daughter, and bedtime.
Night after night, the story grew. A planet called Litron. A royal family with a special gene. Evil forces rising. A boy who fell to Earth and was raised by a pastor's family in Wyoming.
What began as improvised bedtime adventures became something more. A complete seven-chapter epic that my daughter asked for again and again.
Now it's a book. But it will always be, first and foremost, a story told in the dark to the most important audience I'll ever have.
